IGNOU Online LLM in International Business and Finance Law

LLM is a master’s program that allows students to learn and deep dive into the subject matter that students wish to pursue in the law field. It is usually a two-year program; however, some universities offer LLM for working professionals for one to two years. The duration of a program other than the regular one depends on the university and its projected norms. What’s new at IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University)?

INGOU offers multiple PG Diplomas and Certificate programs but does not offer LLM programs for real. The PG Diplomas and Certificates are courses that are completed in 6-12 months. These diplomas and certificates include a Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR), a Certificate in Human Rights (CHR), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice (PGDCJ), a Diploma in Paralegal Practice (DIPP), a Post-Graduate Certificate in Patent Practice (PGCPP), and more.

IGNOU was established in the year 1985, and since then they have been offering their services in the education field (online learning programs and open & distance learning programs) with a high-quality curriculum. IGNOU was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Additionally, they got “A++ grade University” accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Moreover, IGNOU ranked no. 1 in the NIRF ranking list in the open university category. 

• Eligibility criteria for the diploma and certificate courses offered by IGNOU:
  • Students must complete their bachelor’s degree in any law domain.
  • They must have the degree certificate to be eligible to apply for IGNOU
• Eligibility criteria (general) for LLM programs offered by various institutions:
  • Students must have completed their bachelor’s degree in law, either a 3-year program or a 5-year program, from any recognized university.
  • Students must have scored at least 50% marks in their bachelor’s program
  • Must have qualified for the entrance exam conducted at the university level/state level/national level, like CLAT or LSAT.

Note: The abode described fee is for the PD diploma offered by the University (PG Diploma in Environmental and Management Law), as IGNOU does not offer the LLM program as a whole.

IGNOU Online offers the option of credit card/debit card/net banking in its fee payment options but does not provide you a “No Cost EMI” option as of now for any of the online courses.
