M.Com. in Finance & Taxation in Distance Mode from IGNOU comprises 13 courses in such a way that 5 of them are offered by IGNOU & the 8 courses comprise the Chartered Accountancy Final Course. The moment a student clears 8 courses, they can get a credit transfer for those courses. This course is amazing, as it offers a dual degree scheme; when the student passes the finals of Chartered Accountancy, at the same moment they are also qualified to get a Distance M.Com. degree after completion of 5 additional courses by IGNOU.
An M.Com. degree specializing in finance and taxation can be completed by successfully passing the 13 compulsory courses. The course is offered in two parts: Part A comprises Organization Theory and Behavior, Business Environment, International Business Finance, Research Methodology and Statistical Analysis, and Marketing Management, and Part B comprises Financial Reporting, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics, Direct Tax Laws, Advanced Management Accounting, and many more. The students are required to complete all courses of part A from IGNOU, and the rest of the 8 courses of part B are delivered by ICAI. This way, the students can get the M.Com (F & T) along with Chartered Accountancy.
