IGNOU Online MSW

An online Master of Social Work is a 2-year post-graduate program. In this program, students get to study various subjects and aspects related to this program. Without fulfilling the eligibility criteria, students are not eligible to apply for the program. Here are the eligibility criteria set by the university:

• Students must have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Their graduation must be from a recognized university or equivalent institution.
• They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation.
• Students belonging to the reserved categories may get an additional 5% relaxation in the overall percentage.
• That means they need to secure a minimum of 45% marks to apply to an MSWOL program at IGNOU.
• Students must be interested in pursuing the program. 
• There is no limitation on age for pursuing an MSWOL program at IGNOU.

IGNOU Online offers the option of credit card/debit card/net banking in its fee payment options but does not provide you a “No Cost EMI” option as of now for any of the online courses.

The examination pattern followed at IGNOU online for different types of courses is semester mode, i.e., exams are conducted by the university at an interval of 6 months. For online courses, exams are conducted through an AI-proctored tool for an unbiased performance evaluation of students.
